DIRECTOR, PROJECT INTELLIGENCE, PERFORMANCE & ANALYTICS

The Director of Project Intelligence, Performance & Analytics (DPI) is an enterprise leader responsible for defining and advancing how the organization measures, monitors, and improves project and operational performance. This role establishes the governance, performance frameworks, and analytics strategy that enable leadership to make informed decisions using trusted, standardized, and actionable data.

Serving as the strategic bridge between Construction Operations, Project Controls, Finance, Technology, Business Intelligence, and other corporate functions, the Director aligns business objectives with enterprise performance metrics, reporting standards, and analytics initiatives. As the organization's data maturity evolves, this role expands performance management practices beyond Construction Operations to support functions including Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, and other shared services.

Working closely with executive leadership and functional leaders, the Director develops enterprise key performance indicators (KPIs), prioritizes analytics initiatives, and establishes the operating model that transforms data into meaningful business intelligence. This position serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and may lead a team of business analysts while promoting consistent data governance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive leadership experience in construction operations, project controls, project management, business intelligence, analytics, finance, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise or cross-functional performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, project controls, cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and portfolio performance.
  • Experience developing enterprise KPIs, executive dashboards, and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with construction technology platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, ERP systems, Microsoft Power BI, or similar business intelligence solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and lead organizational change without direct authority.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, PSP, PMI-SP, Lean Construction, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Experience leading enterprise business intelligence, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience establishing enterprise data governance and reporting standards.
  • Experience managing business intelligence, analytics, or project controls teams.
  • Experience implementing enterprise reporting or analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.

OFFICE AND TRAVEL

Works hybrid remote and/or in regional office with periodic travel. In addition, occasional travel to regional meetings and some overnight travel may be required.
