If you are a Director, Product Security professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, this role offers the chance to shape and advance cybersecurity across Emerson's Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) and Operational Technology (OT) portfolio. You will guide strategy, strengthen our global product security posture, and collaborate with teams across the business to protect critical infrastructure and support secure, innovative solutions for customers worldwide.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives that span analysis, strategy, and execution across Emerson's IACS/OT products, ensuring robust security controls throughout the product lifecycle
  • Manage, evolve, and continuously improve Emerson's Product Security Program while ensuring alignment with global standards and regulations such as IEC 62443, EU CRA, EU RED, and maritime IACS UR E26/E27.
  • Oversee product security incident response (PSIRT), coordinate investigations, and provide clear and actionable communications to customers and internal leaders.
  • Partner with engineering, product management, legal, supply chain, and other functions to embed security into design, development, and deployment processes.
  • Lead and support a team of product security professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a collaborative environment where expertise is shared and developed.
  • Drive outcomes that advance security maturity, proactively address issues, and ensure consistent delivery of security-related commitments.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Experience in product security, cybersecurity engineering, industrial automation, embedded systems, or related technical functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead security analysis, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver effective cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Working knowledge of secure development practices, cybersecurity frameworks, and standards such as IEC 62443.
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges, prioritize effectively, and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Prior experience managing or maturing a cybersecurity program, including governance, risk, and compliance efforts.
  • Background in IACS/OT cybersecurity or industrial product development.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory requirements including EU CRA, EU RED, and maritime IACS UR E26/E27.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, CISSP, or CEH.
