Product Ownership & Delivery Leadership
• Define, prioritize, and maintain a ready backlog across one or more value streams — including in conditions of ambiguity, where requirements are incomplete or SME access is constrained; advance work through informed assumptions, structured hypotheses, and disciplined validation as decisions become available.
• Lead a federated delivery model across multiple agile teams — engineers, architects, BAs, and delivery leads — across a broad scope of billing, analytics, and platform workstreams; establish delivery rhythm and momentum even where none previously existed.
• Own product delivery outcomes within a technically complex transformation landscape — stepping into scope gaps, restructuring stalled backlogs, and applying proven delivery patterns to restore momentum when needed.
• Partner with MSA-owned application teams to align on scope, sequence, and delivery standards — coaching toward agile practices, restructuring backlogs to reflect true scope, and maintaining delivery accountability across organizational boundaries.
• Facilitate financial, controls, and business rules conversations with subject matter experts across BI and Corp Technology — translating complex, often under documented requirements into well-defined, execution-ready backlog items.
• Partner with Circle Lead, Tech Leads, Delivery Leads, and Architecture to remove impediments, resolve cross-team dependencies, and maintain delivery velocity.
• Own delivery planning at the workstream level — developing clear plans, sequencing work against program milestones, and proactively identifying and managing dependencies across teams, value streams, and organizational boundaries before they become blockers.
• Maintain a disciplined view of risks, assumptions, and constraints across assigned workstreams — communicating proactively to leadership and adjusting plans with speed and precision when conditions change.
Enterprise Relationship Building & Decision Facilitation
• Build and sustain a broad network of relationships across Business Insurance, Corp Technology, and enterprise partners — leveraging those relationships to accelerate decisions and surface risks early.
• Serve as a trusted product voice across organizational boundaries — earning credibility with technical leads, architects, delivery leads, and senior business stakeholders through demonstrated knowledge, follow-through, and sound judgment.
• Facilitate alignment and decision-making across teams and organizations that do not share a reporting structure — navigating competing priorities, conflicting constraints, and ambiguous ownership to drive resolution.
• Leverage institutional knowledge of Business Insurance products, processes, and systems to identify and correct consequential decisions heading in the wrong direction.
• Represent the product perspective in business readiness discussions, and cross-functional planning sessions, requirements workshops and contribute to strategic conversations as scope and priorities evolve.

• Manage stakeholder relationships across Business Insurance, Corp Tech, Enterprise, and managed service partners — maintaining credibility and alignment across organizational boundaries.
• Lead the product organization’s AI and emerging technology agenda — representing PBT in enterprise AI initiatives, designing evaluation frameworks for AI-assisted product tools, and driving adoption of practices that improve team velocity and delivery quality.
• Share best practices across teams to ensure alignment and consistency in ways of working within the value stream.
• Actively seek opportunities to expand impact beyond core delivery accountability — contributing to strategic planning, capability development, and organizational priorities as they emerge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
