Note: This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.

Job Description

The Director, Product Management will be responsible for ownership of the Client Onboarding (COB) application. This leader will interact with business leaders, development teams as well as end-users and other support areas to deliver high quality system solutions. This is a player/coach role that will manage a small team to support the overall projects associated with COB. The individual will be responsible for oversight, planning, decision making and doing some of the analysis and long-term visioning for the product space. Need a strong business leader who can collaborate with various teams to evolve the platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategy for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.
  • Develop the strategy for a significant area of responsibility, such as a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure the strategy is successfully implemented and meets medium-term business needs.
  • Develop and gain agreement to annual business plans for a function or substantial business area, ensuring alignment with strategy; quantify business outcomes, i.e., revenues or other key performance indicators (KPIs); detail expense and headcount budgets; and develop business cases for key projects, ensuring cross-functional integration.
  • Manage and report on the performance of the function/business area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.
  • Communicate the function's strategy and its relationship to the organization's mission, vision, and values; clarify the actions needed to implement this strategy within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to the mission, vision, and values and do extraordinary things to achieve the organization's business goals.


Qualifications/Skills:
  • More than ten (10) years of relevant experience including management or leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Financial services experience is highly preferred.
  • Uses expertise to act as organizational authority on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Operates as a recognized expert to shift into and out of a mental mindset associated with assessing the facts and circumstances of the current situation and/or environment and making the appropriate/innovative adjustments to thinking and work habits to thrive in any scenario. Typically known as a subject matter authority.
  • Uses expertise to act as organizational authority on strategic planning.
  • Applies expertise to act as the organizational authority on making sure the organization develops and maintains the culture, values and design it needs to reach its objectives while managing structural change.
  • Uses expertise to act as the organizational authority on managing projects and/or programs within desired cost, time and quality parameters.
  • Uses expertise to act as the organizational authority on communicating with other people by speaking in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
  • Creates/maintains a competitive organization by attracting, developing, and retaining talent to ensure people with the right skills & motivations are in the right place at the right time to meet business needs.
  • Review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required.
  • Ensure that the organization has an appropriate culture, values and design to deliver organizational objectives in the short and long term and that structural change is effectively managed.
  • Assimilate and understand data and information from various sources in order to draw appropriate conclusions and make relevant recommendations.
  • Orient work in a workflow to plan, organize, and execute the steps it takes to achieve higher efficiencies.
