Director, Product Management
What does a successful Director, Product Management do at Fiserv?
A successful Director, Product Product Management, you will translate customer needs, market opportunities and business objectives into innovative product strategies and solutions. You will effectively lead cross-functional teams, align stakeholders around product priorities and drive measurable business outcomes while balancing strategic thinking with strong execution.
What you will do:
Define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of Embedded Finance products and solutions.
Partner with Business, Strategy, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Client Success teams to align product priorities with client needs, business objectives and revenue opportunities.
Translate market trends, customer insights, partner needs and business goals into clear product plans, business cases and execution priorities.
Own product portfolio planning, roadmap prioritization and lifecycle management, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic investments.
Lead product development across cross-functional agile teams, ensuring product managers are prioritizing effectively, managing stakeholders and driving work through the full build-measure-learn lifecycle.
Approve and guide high-level requirements, acceptance criteria, success metrics and product outcomes that support business and client objectives.
Partner with external partners, platforms and financial services providers to integrate third-party capabilities into Fiserv’s Embedded Finance ecosystem.
What you will need to have:
10+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, software products, fintech, payments, banking or financial services.
4+ years of experience leading product managers, cross-functional teams or large-scale product initiatives.
Proven experience defining and executing product strategies and roadmaps for complex digital, payments, banking, embedded finance or platform-based products.
Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, money movement, financial technology platforms, digital banking, APIs and regulated financial environments.
Experience owning product portfolios with measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, adoption, client satisfaction, operational efficiency and market expansion.
Experience working with Engineering, UX/Product Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Client Success teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Finance or a related field or equivalent work experience.
What would be great to have:
Experience and understanding of payment rails, money movement, lending/credit products or regulated financial environments.
Experience in developing products for and collaborating with high-profile clients, (companies.)
