Full Job Description
Convey is looking for a strategic and hands-on Director, Professional Services (PMO) to lead our project management practice and elevate the implementation and onboarding experience for our customers.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for establishing scalable project management standards, strengthening governance, optimizing resources and capacity, and driving successful project delivery across our product portfolio. You'll lead a team of Project and Program Managers while partnering closely with Services Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional leaders.
What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of Technical Project Managers, Program Managers, and Engagement Managers.
  • Establish and drive adoption of standardized PMO methodologies, processes, tools, and governance.
  • Oversee the portfolio of implementation projects to ensure delivery is on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Drive project forecasting, resource allocation, capacity planning, and staffing strategies.
  • Monitor key Professional Services metrics including revenue delivery, utilization, project profitability, time-to-value, CSAT, and project health.
  • Provide leadership on escalations, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and recovery plans.
  • Develop a premium project management approach for large enterprise implementations.
  • Partner with Services Operations and Sales on pipeline forecasting, project scoping, SOWs, change orders, and resource planning.
  • Lead team training, lessons learned, postmortems, and change management initiatives to continuously improve project delivery.
  • Ensure project documentation, reporting, invoicing, and revenue recognition processes are accurate and consistently maintained.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Professional Services, PMO, or a related field, with progressive leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading and developing project management teams.
  • Strong understanding of PMO governance, project methodology, resource planning, forecasting, and delivery operations.
  • Experience managing complex SaaS, technology, or enterprise implementations.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing revenue, utilization, profitability, and other operational KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Services teams on scoping, SOWs, and pre-sales activities.
  • Ability to lead through change and build scalable processes in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience with professional services project management platforms; Rocketlane experience is a plus.
