Full Job Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for oversight of daily operations of Baxter Health Physicians Clinics. Facilitates physician relations and analyzes and implements business development opportunities. Provides leadership regarding physician and staff satisfaction, coordinates marketing with health system, and other assignments as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor Degree in Health Care Administration, business, or clinical field preferred. Education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications.

Experience: 3 years' experience in a comparable position with leadership responsibilities in healthcare management. Experience should reflect a working knowledge of clinic operations, business development, physician relations, human resources management, effective communication, financial and statistical analyses, and leadership expertise.

• Demonstrates awareness of costs and utilization of resources
• Demonstrates ability to work independently as well as function within a team, and to deal effectively with difficult situations.
• Demonstrates basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge in EMR (eClinicalWorks and Cerner) a plus.
• Demonstrates competence in management and leadership.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current nursing and medical practice as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines for quality health care, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Successful candidate will possess strong work ethic; be well organized; possess financial analytical skills; marketing skills; strong interpersonal communication skills; general accounting skills; have the ability to reassess priorities; possess strong problem solving and decision making skills; and be able to handle a demanding position.
• Demonstrates knowledge of clinic revenue cycle, including payors, EOBs, fee schedules, clinic billing/coding, prior authorizations, etc.
• Candidate will have prior experience with provider credentialing, locums scheduling, new clinic start-up and acquisitions.
