Director, People Operations

Valley Presbyterian Hospital

What You'll Do

  • Lead People Operations, Total Rewards, HR systems, and workforce planning strategy
  • Partner with executive leadership to align workforce strategy with hospital goals
  • Design and oversee compensation structures, benefits, and total rewards programs
  • Drive HRIS, ATS (system maintenance), and HR technology optimization
  • Deliver workforce analytics, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making
  • Lead workforce planning, position control, and organizational design
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulations
  • Oversee HR audits, internal controls, and policy governance
  • Develop and implement HR workflows, SOPs, and service delivery models
  • Lead Employee Services Center to ensure high-quality, responsive HR support
  • Drive employee engagement, culture initiatives, and wellbeing programs
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations


What You Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong background in HR operations, compensation, HRIS, compliance, and analytics
  • Experience leading organizational and cultural transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence executive stakeholders
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days


Preferred

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or related HR certification
