Qualifications and Detail about the Position

Summary:

The Director, Operations Analytics serves as a trusted executive partner and the analytical engine of the COO office. This role integrates the responsibilities of a Chief of Staff, Senior Advisor, and PMO / Business Intelligence function into a single, high-impact position. The individual in this role owns the KPI dashboard and reporting infrastructure that tracks performance across all EBITDA growth pillars, translates complex operational and financial data into executive-level narratives, and partners directly with the COO and senior leadership to advance strategic priorities. This is a delivery and advisory role requiring someone who operates simultaneously at the strategic and analytical levels, with credibility and judgment to represent the COO office across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a senior advisor and strategic thought partner to the COO; provide counsel on organizational priorities, leadership decisions, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Strategy execution and performance with SBU's
  • Design, build, and maintain a live KPI dashboard infrastructure tracking EBITDA performance across all strategic business units (SBUs)
  • Own the monthly EBITDA impact roll-up and all reporting for initiatives, delivered to the COO and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and executive-level clarity
  • Analyze operational and financial data to surface trends, variances, and insights proactively; flag anomalies before they are requested
  • Build scenario models and financial analyses that inform resource allocation and major strategic decisions across SBUs
  • Translate field operations data into executive narratives and board-level presentations
  • Own and manage the PMO reporting calendar; coordinate data inputs from SBU focal points and reporting deadlines
  • Track FMT adoption and other program initiatives across targeted sites; ensure data flows cleanly into the reporting infrastructure
  • Maintain project portfolio performance tracking including timelines, risks, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Facilitate steering committee materials, executive summaries, and status updates for key strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements; translate them into actionable reporting and analytical solutions
  • Assess current business and reporting processes; recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, accountability, and data integrity
  • Represent the COO office across the leadership team and with SBU presidents; act as the operational intelligence function of the COO's office
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, methodologies, and reporting capabilities
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to the COO and senior leadership team as needed

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic operations, business intelligence, business analysis, or a Chief of Staff equivalent role
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing executive-level KPI dashboards and reporting infrastructure
  • Experience working within or leading a PMO function, including portfolio reporting and governance
  • Prior Chief of Staff or C suite-office experience is a significant differentiator and directly applicable to this role
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
