Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of transportation or fleet management experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory and training experience.
• NYS Article 19-A Examiner Certification required.
• NYS CDL Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Strong knowledge of NYS DMV, DOT, and Article 19-A regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the transportation department.
• Ensure operational oversight for a fleet of over 140 vehicles.
• Maintain compliance with NYS DMV, DOT, and Article 19-A regulations.
• Oversee staff training and development initiatives.
• Manage fleet maintenance and budgeting processes.
• Conduct incident investigations when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure reliable transportation services.
