Compensation
- Base pay starting at $155,000 per year

Job Duties
The Director of Total Rewards, HR Operations serves strategic leadership role within the organization; responsible for overseeing all aspects of compensation, benefits and HRIS system programs. Primary objective is to design, implement, and manage a comprehensive total rewards strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates employees while aligning with the organization's overall goals, objectives and budgets.
Essential (Primary) Functions:
- Developing and implementing strategies for employee compensation, including salary structures, bonuses, incentives, and other monetary rewards, to attract, retain, and motivate talent in alignment with the organization's goals and industry standards.
- Overseeing the design, administration, and communication of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other perks, ensuring compliance with regulations and competitiveness in the market.
- Collaborating with HR and business leaders to integrate compensation and rewards programs with performance management processes, ensuring that rewards are tied to individual and organizational performance goals effectively.
- Conducting regular analysis and benchmarking of total rewards offerings against industry trends and competitors, providing insights and recommendations to ensure the organization remains competitive and attractive to current and prospective employees.
- Developing communication strategies and materials to effectively communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, as well as providing education and support to managers and employees on total rewards offerings and their value.
- Develops HR Technology roadmap/strategy in collaboration with other HR Leaders and the needs of the organization.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to compensation and benefits, as well as managing risks associated with total rewards programs, such as legal, financial, and reputational risks.
Associated Functions:
- The Director of Total Rewards leads a team of compensation, benefits and HRIS professionals, including analysts, specialists, and administrators. Provide direction, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Presents compensation and benefits information to Board Leadership Development and Compensation Committee. Leads Blain's Retirement Committee.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience. Certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) are preferred.
