Director of Therapy (DOT) Opportunity at Timbers of Jasper/Good Samaritan Home

Must be a licensed PT

As a Director of Therapy, you would play a key role in overseeing rehabilitation services (PT, OT, and SLP) while building meaningful relationships. The Director of Therapy also collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, provides leadership in staff development, and ensures therapy services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Skills Needed:

  • Clinical knowledge: Understanding therapeutic principles, psychosocial assessments and interventions. Familiarity with case management, discharge planning and crisis intervention.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Empathetic engagement with residents and families. Clear, effective communication with interdisciplinary teams. Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
  • Supportive Presence: Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
  • Collaboration: Works with and promotes collaboration among departments, professionals, consultants, and organizations including government regulatory agencies.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.


Requirements:

  • Current and valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Indiana.
  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Previous management experience preferred.
