JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Marketing Technology, Data & Performance is a commercial marketing leader responsible for turning the systems, data, and media we already own into direct revenue across the Rentyl Resorts and NDM Hospitality portfolio. Salesforce is our committed CRM platform and we already maintain a working single source of truth for retail customers and opportunities. The gap is ownership: no single marketing leader is extending those systems, connecting the pieces that remain separate, and converting them into reliable reporting and booked business.

This individual owns marketing technology and CRM, marketing data and reporting, and paid media performance across the portfolio - with AI applied wherever it earns its place in that work. They will manage a multi-million-dollar media budget, oversee agency and vendor partners, mentor a small team added in phases, and work daily with property marketing teams, Revenue, Operations, Finance, and Technology.
SCOPE NOTE - THIS IS A MARKETING ROLE
This is a commercial marketing position, not a technology position. We are hiring a marketer who is fluent in the tools - someone who thinks in guests, bookings, ADR, and revenue, and who uses technology and data to move those numbers.
• This role owns: Marketing strategy, campaigns, guest and customer communication, segmentation, reporting that drives decisions, media performance, and revenue results.
• This role does not own: Infrastructure, security, architecture, integrations, and data engineering. Technology owns these; this role is their marketing counterpart and partner, not a substitute.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Technology & CRM
• Own the marketing side of our technology stack, with Salesforce at the center - getting more marketing value out of what we already own before adding anything new.
• Build and run CRM and lifecycle programs: segmentation, journeys, automation, and email/SMS that produce measurable revenue across guest, resident, and homebuyer audiences.
• Ensure clean data capture, consent management, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, applicable privacy requirements).
• Manage marketing vendors, contracts, and the stack budget; partner with Technology on integrations and with Finance on spend.
DIRECTOR, MARKETING TECHNOLOGY, DATA & PERFORMANCE • Last updated 8/2026 • Page 2 of 3
• Evaluate partnership and innovation opportunities with external technology partners to fill data gaps and maintain competitive advantage.
Data, Reporting & Insights
• Define what marketing needs from our customer and opportunity data - including group, wholesale, and property-level views - and partner with Technology to get there.
• Develop KPIs, set goals, and deliver consistent reporting leadership can trust: pace, production, and channel performance by property, on a set monthly cadence.
• Own campaign tracking standards across the portfolio, including Google Tag Manager governance and a recurring tracking audit process for all campaigns run by NDM Studios.
• Own how we measure marketing return, and keep definitions consistent across every operating company.
• Own how our brands appear in AI-generated answers (AEO - Answer Engine Optimization: being cited inside answers from tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, not only ranking a link).
Paid Media & Performance
• Own paid media strategy, buying approach, and performance across the portfolio - search, social, display, video, app, and metasearch - managing a multi-million-dollar annual budget.
• Manage external agencies and platform partners to defined scopes and benchmarks; build working relationships with Google, Microsoft, and other platform reps to access betas and growth products.
• Ensure every dollar is tracked, attributed, and visible - no spend running without accountability.
• Oversee organic search and content visibility alongside paid, so the two are planned together rather than separately.
• Design and run tests that generate learnings, and drive continual improvement in campaign management, implementation, and reporting efficiency.
Budget, Team & Communication
• Oversee marketing budget deployment for the areas owned by this role, including accurate invoice coding, accruals, and P&L discipline.
• Hire, train, mentor, and coordinate team members as the function is phased in; support the continued expansion of NDM Studios as our in-house agency.
• Communicate performance and current initiatives clearly to on-site property teams, corporate leadership, and partners.
• Build the reporting and communication tools needed to keep property and corporate teams current on performance, offers, and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, CRM, marketing operations, performance marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams or leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience as a marketer, including segmentation, campaign management, customer journeys, automation, and reporting.
  • Proven ownership of significant paid media budgets and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console, paid search platforms, and attribution methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with experience transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI solutions within marketing operations with measurable and documented business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention, lifecycle marketing, and digital performance measurement.
  • Experience managing agency relationships, vendors, contracts, and marketing investments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Orlando or Boca Raton and travel periodically to portfolio properties.

  • Hospitality, resort, vacation rental, multifamily housing, retail, homebuilding, or multi-location brand experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-property or multi-brand organizations.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Salesforce Data Cloud experience.
  • Agency experience, either client-side or agency-side.
  • Experience with Looker Studio, Search Ads 360, enterprise reporting platforms, or advanced business intelligence tools.
  • Understanding of hospitality distribution channels, including:
    • Direct / Retail
    • Group Sales
    • Wholesale / Tour Operators
    • Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
  • Knowledge of booking economics, channel mix management, and commission structures.
  • Proven success maximizing the value of existing technology and vendor investments before pursuing replacement solutions.
