Full Job Description
Location: Danvers, MA

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with occasional after hours or weekend work as needed

Target Salary: $82,000 - $85,000 annually

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity.

Job Summary

In this position, you will provide strategic, fiscal, and operational leadership for Northeast Arc's Support Center programs, including the Autism Support Center, Adult Autism Support Center, Community Resource Center, and regional resource initiatives. This is a leadership role that spans multiple programs and communities, requiring someone who is equally comfortable setting long-term strategy and rolling up their sleeves to drive day-to-day excellence. You will oversee program growth, staff leadership, DDS partnerships, contract compliance, community engagement, and resource coordination to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and maximum regional impact.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic, fiscal, and operational leadership across Northeast Arc's Support Center programs, including the Autism Support Center, Adult Autism Support Center, Community Resource Center, and regional resource initiatives
  • Supervise the Autism Support Center Program Director, Family Resource Center Program Director, Adult Autism Support Center Program Director, and Community Resource Center Specialists, fostering collaboration and shared accountability across teams
  • Oversee program growth and community engagement, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services and maximum regional impact
  • Manage DDS partnerships, contract compliance, and resource coordination across multiple geographic locations
  • Lead financial analysis, database management, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures
  • Drive project management, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives across the Support Center division
  • Represent Northeast Arc and present at conferences, workshops, meetings, and seminars on behalf of the organization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in psychology, special education, human service management, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience in the field of family supports; experience managing large-scale outreach, referral, and information systems
  • Extensive experience supporting, educating, and advocating for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and Developmental Disabilities (DD)
  • Strong knowledge of service systems, resources, and supports available to individuals with ASD, ID, and DD, with demonstrated success helping families navigate and access those services
  • Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and teams across multiple geographic locations; demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and inspire staff
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate a vision, lead meetings, and engage diverse audiences
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to professional development through participation in Northeast Arc activities, committees, conferences, and industry events
  • Valid driver's license required; ability to travel for work-related trainings, meetings, and events
  • Sitting at a desk 50% of the workday; standing and walking 50% of the workday
  • Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.
