Full Job Description
Manages and strengthens strategic partnerships critical to Security First Insurance's (Company) growth, distribution, and long-term business objectives. Serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned corporate and enterprise-level partners, driving profitable growth, business development, partner engagement, and operational alignment across the organization. Work involves relationship management, strategic planning, performance monitoring, cross-functional coordination, and issue resolution within a Florida Property & Casualty insurance environment.

Work is performed under minimal supervision with moderate latitude in the use of initiative. The position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting Company policies, procedures, business objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned strategic partners, maintaining strong executive and operational relationships that support Company growth and profitability
  • Develops and executes strategic partner business plans with measurable goals related to growth, production, engagement, market penetration, and profitability
  • Identifies opportunities to expand Security First's presence within partner organizations, agencies, locations, and producer networks
  • Collaborates with Territory Managers to identify growth opportunities, coordinate engagement strategies, and support agency-level execution of corporate partnership initiatives
  • Monitors and analyzes partner performance metrics, including new business premium, policy growth, quote volume, quote-to-bind conversion, agency penetration, producer engagement, profitability, and progress toward strategic goals
  • Conducts business reviews and presents performance insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities to internal leadership and partner organizations
  • Identifies, evaluates, and pursues new strategic distribution opportunities that align with Company growth, underwriting, and profitability objectives
  • Partners with Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, Product, Operations, Technology, and executive leadership to support partner-specific initiatives, campaigns, training, product enhancements, and operational improvements
  • Coordinates partner onboarding, implementation of new programs, and execution of strategic initiatives designed to improve partner performance and ease of doing business
  • Provides partners with business insights, market intelligence, performance data, training resources, and strategic guidance to drive engagement and production results
  • Resolves escalated business, service, operational, and relationship issues affecting strategic partners and agency networks
  • Communicates partner feedback internally and advocates for improvements that enhance partner experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
  • Represents the Company at partner meetings, conferences, conventions, leadership forums, industry events, and other business development activities
  • Maintains awareness of market conditions, competitive trends, emerging distribution opportunities, and factors impacting partner and Company performance
  • Ensures partner activities align with Company policies, underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and profitability objectives
  • Maintains positive communication and effective working relationships with Company personnel, strategic partners, agencies, and the public
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with individuals regardless of race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, genetic information, disability, political affiliation, military service, or diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
  • The ability to perform work onsite at a Company-designated location on a regular basis is an essential function of this position.
  • This role requires adherence to the Company's hybrid work model to fulfill job duties and collaborate effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance sales, distribution management, business development, strategic account management, or related insurance operations
  • OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
  • Experience managing complex, high-value strategic partnerships, agency networks, aggregators, or enterprise distribution relationships
  • Strong understanding of personal lines insurance distribution models, agency operations, and Florida Property & Casualty insurance markets
  • Experience developing and executing business growth strategies, performance plans, and partnership initiatives that drive production and profitability.

Certifications and Licenses:
  • Must possess a valid state of Florida driver's license
  • Industry designations or trade certifications as required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience working with national or enterprise-level insurance partners
  • Knowledge of underwriting workflows, claims operations, and insurance technology platforms
  • Professional insurance designation (e.g., CPCU, ARM)
