As the Director of Security, you will be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards. You will Plan, direct and coordinate activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of company assets, team members, guests and owners ensuring that established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed priorities, time limitations and fiscal responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Responds to owner and guests' problems and oversees resolution
• Ensures that a high standard of service is delivered in a friendly and personalized manner
• Maintains a high level of transparency and contact among guests and owners
• Anticipates guests' needs and provides services that are beyond expectations
• Use insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings
• Models high standards of honesty and integrity.
• Uses a methodical and logical approach in the development of recommendations for action
• Provides novel and creative approaches to problem solving to achieve strategic outcomes
• Create a positive and motivating working environment
• Use situational awareness to adapt and adjust to fit the needs of the moment
• Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates and supervises security operations for the property

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
• 5+ years of security related experience
• 4+ years supervising or developing a team
• Knowledge of principles and practices of security operations and management, enforcement procedures and safety practices in a hospitality environment
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage staff in a positive manner that produces business results
• Demonstrates problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and manage competing priorities within a small team environment
• Experience with processing Workers Compensation and General Liability Claims
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, both verbally and in writing, with guests, team members, managers and all other department staff of all ages including proper handling of emotional situations and needs
• High School Diploma or GED
