Director of Sales

Western Wyoming Beverages

Location: Rock Springs, Wyoming
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, some weekends and nights.

Western Wyoming Beverages is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Sales to lead the strategic direction, performance, and growth of our sales organization.

This position oversees sales strategy across our beer and non-alcoholic beverage portfolios while serving as the primary brand manager for our beer suppliers, including Anheuser-Busch. The Director of Sales will lead and develop our sales team, strengthen supplier and customer relationships, improve execution in the market, and identify new opportunities for profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead company-wide sales strategies, annual plans, and market priorities.
  • Coach, support, and hold sales team members accountable for performance and execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Anheuser-Busch and other beer suppliers.
  • Manage supplier programs, sales targets, pricing, forecasting, and execution standards.
  • Strengthen relationships with key on-premise and off-premise customers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution, increase displays, grow shelf space, and secure additional draft and equipment placements.
  • Use sales data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps.
  • Oversee local marketing programs, promotions, events, brand activations, and product launches.
  • Manage sales budgets, supplier funding, profitability, and trade spending.
  • Work closely with operations, warehouse, inventory, and leadership teams to maintain strong customer service and product availability.
  • Evaluate potential new suppliers and products that support the company's long-term growth strategy.


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a confident and collaborative leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on market involvement. This person should be comfortable developing employees, building customer and supplier relationships, analyzing performance, and creating clear plans that produce measurable results.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, communications, or a related field; relevant education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Two to five years of sales, sales leadership, account management, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in beverage distribution, consumer packaged goods, retail, hospitality, or a related industry is preferred.
  • Ability to travel throughout Western Wyoming and regularly work in the market with employees and customers.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
