Full Job Description
Overview:

To assist in implementing all strategies and activities to generate and maximize overall revenue, through marketing, sales, promotion, advertising, and public relations that will impact positively on all operating departments of the hotel, thereby resulting in a profitable return on the ownership's investment. To assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in support of the Sales operation and work closely with the Catering Sales, Conference Services Department, and Reservations Department to maximize revenues; maintain positive interdepartmental communications; contribute to the overall direction and operation of the hotel and to effectively control and minimize all marketing expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues and occupancy.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure full maximization of rooms potential.
• Assist Group Sales Managers with established rate guidelines.
• Work with Director of Sales and Marketing in implementing strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the hotel.
• Stimulate productivity of all sales staff through guidance, development, and support.
• Active solicitation of key accounts to generate direct sales.
• Maintain Sales Team's focus on a Proactive Solicitation environment.
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in developing and implementing the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows.
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure a challenging and exciting environment to encourage full career development and personal growth.
• Support and promote all corporate programs to increase customer awareness of Omni Hotels and ensure that the customer receives the appropriate benefits of each program.
• Develop programs to maintain high volume of group leads
• Assist sales managers in closing process as needed
• Actively work a sales market as part of the team effort

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of large hotel sales experience in a director or senior leadership capacity.
• Must be a self-motivated team player who consistently contributes positive energy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the proven ability to excel in a team-oriented setting.
• Outstanding capability in delivering group presentations, both written and oral.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities and effectively re-prioritizing when necessary.
• Robust business planning, account planning, and budget management expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative in developing revenue-driving strategies.
• Proven track record of connecting strategic actions directly to measurable results.
• Strong financial/statistical analysis and business case development skills.
• Profound understanding and expertise in the sales process.
• Extensive experience in account management.
• Experience selling a large-scale resort is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
