Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Director of Sales is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for driving revenue growth, market share, and brand positioning for The Menger & Crockett Hotel. This role leads the sales team, develops and executes innovative sales strategies, and builds strong relationships within the local and national marketplace.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Sales partners closely with operations, marketing, and revenue management to deliver exceptional business results and elevate the guest experience.

Requested Tasks
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with revenue goals
  • Identify new business opportunities across corporate, group, and leisure segments
  • Analyze market trends, competitive set, and demand drivers to inform strategy
  • Drive top-line revenue through proactive sales efforts and strong account management
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, inventory, and forecasting
  • Lead weekly sales strategy and pipeline meetings
  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and community stakeholders
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows
  • Ensure exceptional service delivery from prospecting through post-event follow-up
  • Partner with Marketing to drive brand awareness and lead generation
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless execution of group and event business
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
