Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the Critical Care Unit, ensuring quality patient care while meeting all staffing requirements and internal/external standards.
- Manage staffing functions, including compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure continuous patient care improvement through leadership and active involvement in quality initiatives.
- Report to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Education:Required: Associate's degree in Nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (must be obtained within two years of hire or transfer).
Experience:Required:
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a Critical Care Unit.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an acute or critical care setting.
Preferred: Proven ability to manage high-stress environments and effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Certifications:Required:
- Current NC or Multistate RN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required or to be obtained within the first week of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required.
