Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)

Location: Country Lane Health Care Center - Keosauqua, IA

Schedule: Full-Time

Country Lane Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our in-house therapy department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services while ensuring strong clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and compassionate, resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise therapy staff, including Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP)
• Ensure all therapy personnel maintain active licensure and meet federal, state, and facility regulatory standards
• Oversee therapy documentation, scheduling, billing coordination, and quality assurance audits
• Maintain high clinical standards while driving operational efficiency and performance metrics
• Develop and implement innovative therapy programs to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership to support facility-wide goals and quality initiatives

Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current PT, PTA, OT, or SLP license
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program applicable to their licensure
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct patient care experience
• At least one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred, or demonstrated leadership within a clinical role
• Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills
