Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate quality improvement initiatives and interpret performance metrics

Job Summary

The QI Director is responsible for development, coordination and interpretation of organizational quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and compliance performance. Provides quality improvement training; facilitates teams to develop performance measures, data collection methods, data analysis and selection of improvement strategies. Works with the Medical Director of Quality to coordinate and review the functions of the Quality and Patient Safety Council and works with the Chief of Staff (in all departments) to coordinate and oversee the Peer Review functions. The QI Director oversees the Population Health team to ensure the process for Chronic Care Management, Annual Wellness Visits, and Transition of Care follows the CMS guidelines and that this work is well documented in the EMR. This is done to provide good follow through communication to the providers.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess current licensure by the Minnesota Board of Nursing preferred or bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or another healthcare-related field required. Three years of experience in Quality Improvement in a Health Care setting is preferred. Two years of experience in Risk Management and a basic understanding of Corporate Compliance is preferred.

Wage

Depending on your work experience, you could earn an annual salary of $94,765 up to $137,409.
