Job Description:

About the Role

Reporting Intelligence is insightsoftware's AI-native reporting platform for finance teams, and one of the company's flagship AI product investments. As part of a major brand and platform transformation toward a unified, AI-native experience, Reporting Intelligence sits at the center of how the company connects to and reports across the ERP systems finance teams already run on. The Director of Product will own the strategy, roadmap, and commercial execution for Reporting Intelligence end to end: from AI capability development, to the multi-ERP data integration that is the product's core technical differentiator, to translating that differentiation into revenue.

This is both a builder and a commercializer role. Reporting Intelligence already has a strong customer base and real product depth. This role is accountable for accelerating its AI capabilities, deepening its ERP coverage, and sharpening its commercial motion (packaging, pricing, and pipeline) so that differentiation converts into growth.

What You'll Do

AI-Native Product Strategy

  • Own the Reporting Intelligence roadmap and prioritize AI investments that deliver measurable, provable value to finance teams, not AI for its own sake.

  • Drive the transition from AI features that are bundled into the base product to AI capabilities that are explicitly packaged and priced, partnering with Pricing, Finance, and Engineering on the model.

  • Partner with AI/Platform engineering to ensure AI outputs meet the accuracy, trust, and data-governance bar enterprise finance buyers require before those capabilities go to market.

  • Represent Reporting Intelligence in company-wide AI governance and monetization initiatives as they scale.

Multi-ERP and Data Integration Depth

  • Serve as the product's senior authority on ERP data structures and connectivity. This role requires genuine, hands-on knowledge of ERP data models (general ledger structures, sub-ledgers, chart of accounts, master data hierarchies) across the platforms Reporting Intelligence connects to, which span major ERPs including SAP, Oracle (EBS and JDE), Viewpoint, MRI, Yardi, Deltek, Syspro, and Sage.

  • Own the sequencing of ERP connector investment, making real tradeoffs between committed engineering scope and future coverage based on customer value, not build convenience.

  • Validate ERP identification, configuration, and connectivity assumptions directly with Solutions Engineering and customers before they become roadmap commitments.

  • Weigh every connector and integration investment against the company's broader SaaS and cloud-first direction, including vendor lifecycle and end-of-support timing for legacy ERP platforms.

Commercial Readiness and Enterprise Go-to-Market

  • Own SKU, packaging, and pricing readiness for Reporting Intelligence, ensuring the product organization can generate and convert enterprise pipeline effectively.

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales on positioning and messaging for enterprise and upper-mid-market finance buyers running complex, multi-entity, multi-ERP environments.

  • Build the operating discipline (launch readiness, pipeline instrumentation, pricing governance) appropriate to a product operating at significant ARR scale.

Team and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of product managers and/or product owners.

  • Partner closely with the GM of Reporting Intelligence on business outcomes and with the VP of Product, Reporting & Tools on strategic alignment across the broader portfolio.

  • Build a consistent voice-of-customer practice (customer calls, demos, advisory input) into the product's standard operating rhythm.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in product management, including 3-5+ years owning enterprise B2B SaaS products with direct bookings or P&L accountability.

  • Real depth in ERP ecosystems: hands-on product, integration, or implementation experience with the data models of at least two or three major ERP platforms (for example SAP, Oracle EBS/JDE, or equivalent). Financial reporting, FP&A, or accounting domain background strongly preferred.

  • A track record shipping AI-native or AI-augmented product capabilities, including the pricing, trust, and accuracy work required to move AI features from a bundled experience to a monetized one.

  • Experience selling into or building for enterprise and upper-mid-market accounts, including multi-entity, multi-ERP customer environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to build commercial and operational discipline (SKUs, pricing, pipeline, launch readiness) into a product organization.

  • People leadership experience managing product managers or product owners.

  • Bonus: experience in financial reporting, EPM, or adjacent finance software categories.

The salary range in United States of America for this position is 160,000.00 to 201,000.00 USD Annual.

For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.

Your specific offer within this range will be determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications.

We are committed to pay transparency and fair compensation practices. If you have questions about our compensation approach, please don't hesitate to ask during the interview process.
