Position Overview

The Director of Product Management, Fleetrite is responsible for the overall strategic leadership, growth, profitability, and market development of the Fleetrite aftermarket product portfolio. This role owns the Fleetrite brand strategy and executes long-term growth strategies that increase market share, expand product coverage, improve customer value proposition, and strengthen relationships across International dealers and fleets. This leader collaborates cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Dealer Operations to drive profitable revenue growth and deliver best-in-class customer experience.

 

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, aftermarket industry expertise, strategic leadership, and a customer-centric approach to accelerate Fleetrite's position as the preferred all-makes solution for commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Business Leadership

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategic vision for the Fleetrite brand.
  • Establish and manage annual business plans, sales objectives, profitability targets, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and customer trends to guide investment decisions.
  • Lead portfolio optimization initiatives to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer value.
  • Direct Fleetrite brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition strategies.
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of product managers, marketing professionals, and business analysts.

 

Product Portfolio Management

  • Provide strategic oversight of Fleetrite product category roadmaps.
  • Prioritize new product introductions, category expansions, and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Drive product assortment decisions based on market demand, vehicle population trends, and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate business cases for new products, strategic partnerships, and growth investments.
  • Partner with sourcing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure competitive product offerings and industry-leading quality standards.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions to improve category health.

Revenue Growth & Market Development

  • Develop initiatives to increase Fleetrite sales through International dealers, fleets, and e-commerce channels.
  • Establish go-to-market strategies for new product launches and category expansions.
  • Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet across key customer segments.
  • Lead strategic pricing and promotional initiatives to enhance competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 5 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of marketing, sales or product-related experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in aftermarket, commercial vehicle, automotive, transportation, or industrial product businesses.
  • 5+ years of experience leading product management, brand management, or business operations teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing multimillion-dollar product portfolios and P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of commercial vehicle aftermarket channels, fleet operations, and dealer networks.
  • Experience developing and executing growth strategies in highly competitive markets.
  • Excellent executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment.

Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Experience in heavy-duty truck, commercial vehicle, transportation, or aftermarket industries.
  • Knowledge of parts distribution, e-commerce, and digital aftermarket solutions.
  • Familiarity with private-label or branded aftermarket product strategies.
  • Experience working with dealer organizations and fleet customers.
