Director, Product Management for Access Network Modernization

About The Team

CoverMyMeds' Access Provider & Payer Product team is seeking a Director, Product Management to implement the modernization of our CoverMyMeds' prior authorization products and lay the foundation for the evolution of the CoverMyMeds' ePA network. Our Provider & Payer Product team is a foundational group of product managers and thought leaders intently focused on improving prior authorization for Providers and Payers. Together with our various business units, the work our Provider & Payer Product team does ultimately helps people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives.

What You'll Do

As a Director, Product Management your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here's a snapshot of what to expect:
  • Owns app modernization product requirements, architecture alignment with Engineering, and change management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Defines success metrics, adoption curves, and cutover criteria for migrating providers and payers from legacy surfaces to modernized experiences
  • Owns the definition of partner integration strategy, roadmap, delivery, and go to market, including API standards, data exchange models, and onboarding frameworks that allow new providers, payers, and technology partners to join the network efficiently
  • Work cross-functionally with CSBD, commercial, and implementation teams to evaluate, prioritize, and productize new integration opportunities
  • Lead discovery, value proposition definition, and feature development helping define and deliver the future of CoverMyMeds access products
  • Develops business cases and executive-level narratives to secure investment in modernization and new commercial capabilities
  • Provides industry expertise, understanding competitive intelligence and liaising with CSBD and analytics teams to gather insights and inform product strategy
  • Interacts with senior management pertaining to product business reviews, customer escalations, and sales pitches
  • Leads skills-based development planning and coaching for product managers, using structured assessments, personalized growth plans, and cross-functional exposure to strengthen product capabilities and support career progression.


Skills You'll Need
  • Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
  • Product management experience or familiarity with technical product development methodologies (e.g., Agile)
  • Product lifecycle management from strategy definition to delivery execution
  • Healthcare and healthcare technology experience in Provider and/or Payer industry segments
  • Track record of defining and driving commercial model innovation-pricing strategy, new business models, or go-to-market for platform products
  • P&L or financial management experience


Preferred Skills
  • Effective communication skills focused on the audience ranging from executives to individual team members
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluency with modern API and integration patterns; ability to engage credibly with engineering on architecture and platform decisions
