About the RoleWe're looking for a strategic design leader to unite Noom's clinical experience into continuous, coherent customer journeys. You'll own the design strategy for how customers find, access, and stay engaged with Noom's Med offerings. You'll also lead a small team of designers while setting strategic direction across a complex domain-with an emphasis on problem framing, sequencing, and cross-functional alignment.
You Will- Shape how customers find and choose the right path to their health goals, balancing personal preference, cost, and access
- Build frameworks that make it easier and faster to bring new products to market, so quality and consistency scale as the offering grows
- Own the full customer journey after purchase, from day-to-day logistics through ongoing clinical support, ensuring the experience keeps customers engaged over the long term
- Extend design thinking beyond the screen into the full service experience, including how care teams and outside partners show up for the customer
- Manage and develop a small team of designers, setting priorities across a portfolio of workstreams and balancing business urgency, design quality, and team capacity
- Partner closely with cross-functional leads to identify journey gaps and sequence where design invests next
About YouIf you think beyond the screen, can build strategy out of ambiguity, and want to shape the design behind one of the most complex parts of Noom's product, this role may be for you.
You Have- Proven experience as a strategic design leader in complex, multi-surface product ecosystems, not just screen-level design
- Strong service design thinking, with experience defining solutions that span product, clinical, and partner touchpoints
- A track record of managing and developing designers, including setting priorities across a small team supporting multiple stakeholders
- Experience turning research and data signals into a clear design point of view
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly articulate abstract or complex ideas to product, clinical, and executive audiences
- Ability to set realistic goals and manage toward them across ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
- A commitment to accessible, human-centered design
- Experience in a regulated or highly complex industry preferred, where legal and compliance considerations shape design decisions
What Makes This Job Amazing- Your work will directly shape the Med journey for customers who depend on Noom for their care
- You'll help define one of the most complex, fastest-growing parts of Noom's product as it expands
- You'll have real ownership over strategy, with a team to lead and develop
- You'll work closely with Research, Product, and clinical partners to shape decisions from the ground up
What You'll Earn and Enjoy- Pay that reflects your impact. Compensation benchmarked to the market and shaped by your impact and value.
- Investment in your future. A 401(k) with company match to help you build long-term financial security.
- Time to truly recharge. Paid holidays, generous time off, Summer Fridays, and a company-wide Summer Break week so the whole team can unplug together.
- Care that covers it all. Access to top-tier medical plans for you and your family, including a premium-free plan option, alongside dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Support for growing families. Paid parental leave to give you the time and flexibility to focus on what matters most.
- And more to help you thrive. Stock awards, a performance-based bonus, and exclusive access to Noom's products, so you can grow with us, win with us, and enjoy what we build.
