Full Job Description
Director of Project Management Operations (PMO) to lead project execution across the Central Region. In this role, you'll support strong project practices, partner with continuous improvement teams, and help create successful outcomes for our teams and clients.

You will:
  • Guide project execution across the Central Business Unit (BU) with support from the Central PMO team.
  • Help ensure project processes and transactions follow applicable policies and procedures.
  • Partner with sales and proposal teams by helping select project leadership and providing input on key proposals.
  • Monitor and share project performance updates against established KPIs.
  • Manage the overall project execution forecast and work with BU leadership to support change management across the system.
  • Build strong PM/client relationships by participating in executive reviews, supporting clear communication, and helping resolve issues and change orders.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to conduct audits, identify improvement opportunities, and put process and procedure updates into action.
  • Support project lifecycle workflows and tools from lead identification through closeout.
  • Support non-project activities, including employee management, administration, and training systems.
  • Collaborate with BU leadership to prioritize improvements and help lead approved initiatives through implementation.
  • Help ensure PMO team members have the resources, timing, and skill sets needed to support BU priorities.
  • Provide supportive administrative leadership for the PMO team.
  • Maintain a clear view of PMO team strengths and development opportunities through a SWOT matrix.
  • Identify PMO team training needs and help close skill gaps through proactive support.
  • Help ensure project transactions align with company financial policies and project governance requirements.
  • Maintain approval authority and threshold guidance for work initiation, purchase orders, change orders, and budget adjustments.
  • Follow company SOPs, policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements while bringing accuracy, consistency, and quality to the work.

You have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and/or integration or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience of project management inclusive of managing projects larger than $1M in value.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to manage conflict, escalations, negotiate compromise & influence others, and problem solving.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Strong experience in managing relationships with senior management executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in growing, supporting, and leading large-scale programs and projects/initiatives to successful completion and implementation.
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.


You may have:
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Experience growing and standardizing a PMO.
  • Experience supporting process optimization, waste reduction, quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Travel up to 20-30% may be required to support operational reviews, audits, training activities, BU operations, customer engagements, and company meetings.
