5+ years of Plant Operations experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
3+ years of Supervisory experience is preferred.

Description
Responsibilities:
Manages and directs daily activities of the hospital maintenance department.
Ensures department is staffed appropriately, including on-call coverage, to ensure the needs of the facility are met.
Prioritizes, coordinates, and assigns work through verbal instructions/directions, work requests, and requests from senior management.
Follows daily work via meetings with workers to ensure proper installation, repairs, and equipment operations exist.
Monitor's routine and preventative maintenance activities to ensure utilities, environmental systems and other building systems operate properly and efficiently.
Maintains records of routine services as required by the State, insurance companies, and other agencies (i.e. fire alarm testing, sprinkler testing, air/water testing, electrical safety testing, etc.)
Ensures all inspections are completed and documented as required.
Budgets appropriately for new equipment and renovation projects.
Obtains 3 bids and RFPs as required.
Confers with department directors and employees with regards to the Safety program.
Gives proper notification of upcoming disruption in utilities and other services.
Executes general and special assignments in the field of plant engineering matters.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
