The Role at a Glance:The Director of Plant Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and safety of the facility's physical infrastructure and daily production activities.

- Operational Management: Oversees daily facility operations, including production schedules, workflow efficiency, and inventory management. Facility operations include processing, warehouse, maintenance and sanitation.
- Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Directs preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure zero-loss operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensures the facility meets all federal, state, and local standards, specifically OSHA, NFPA, EPA, GMP, HACCP, USDA, etc.
- Internal Compliance: Ensure operations comply with all internal policies, procedures, and controls.
- Safety Leadership: Establish employee Health & Safety as a priority for all operations.
- Financial Oversight: Manages departmental budgets, analyzes P&L statements, and negotiates vendor contracts to maximize profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Project Management: Leads capital improvement projects, including new construction, renovations, and equipment upgrades.

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in facilities, manufacturing, or plant operations, preferably in the egg industry.
- Superior leadership, technical proficiency in building systems, data analysis, and excellent communication skills.
- Bilignual in English/Spanish a plus but not required
- Egg Processing a plus but not required
Work Schedule & Hours:- Day Shift - Flexible Schedule
- Work hours are primarily during the day, with flexibility in start and end times based on business needs.
- Shifts may extend up to 10-12 hours depending on project demands, deadlines, or organizational priorities.
- Daily schedules may vary due to meetings, process improvement initiatives, data analysis needs, or cross-functional collaboration.
- Flexibility is required to adjust working hours to support continuous improvement efforts and evolving business needs.
