We are seeking a Director of Philanthropy who reports directly to the President & CEO and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This position is onsite and responsible for leading and executing FTJ's fundraising and philanthropic efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, grants, donor stewardship, special events, community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and future capital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support organizational priorities and long-term growth.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors while expanding annual, planned, legacy, and memorial giving programs.
- Lead grant research, proposal development, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Partner with the President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Fund Development Committee to advance philanthropic goals.
- Oversee donor recognition, stewardship programs, fundraising events, and volunteer engagement initiatives.
- Develop sponsorships, partnerships, and external funding opportunities to support community programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing on donor outreach, fundraising materials, and philanthropic messaging.
- Manage philanthropy department staff, budgets, fundraising performance metrics, and reporting.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated fundraising success, including major gifts, donor cultivation, and development strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, project management, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of fundraising principles, donor stewardship, and applicable regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management software.
- Ability to work occasionally in the evenings and on weekends.
