POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Partnership Development is a revenue-driving sponsorship sales role responsible for identifying, developing, pitching, negotiating, and closing new brand partnerships across Loud And Live's growing portfolio of lifestyle, entertainment, venues and live event properties. This individual will be expected to build a strong pipeline of prospective sponsors, cultivate relationships with brand and agency decision-makers, and convert opportunities into six-figure annual and multi-year sponsorship agreements. Working closely with the General Manager of Partnerships and internal stakeholders, this role will help shape compelling partnership opportunities that align sponsor objectives with Loud And Live's events, audiences, and commercial growth goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Generation & Sponsorship Sales

  • Own and drive new sponsorship revenue across Loud And Live's portfolio of owned and operated events, experiences, and entertainment properties.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new brand partners through targeted outreach, relationship building, networking, and consultative selling.
  • Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals that align brand objectives with event assets, audience insights, content opportunities, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead negotiations for sponsorship packages, renewals, and multi-year agreements, with a focus on closing six-figure and larger partnership deals.
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline using Loud and Live's CRM system, providing regular updates on prospecting activity, deal status, revenue forecasts, and close probability.
  • Regularly attend networking events, conferences, Loud and Live concerts/events to help showcase and sell the Loud and Live portfolio.


Business Development & Market Strategy

  • Build and manage a robust prospect list across priority categories, including consumer brands, regional partners, agencies, and national sponsorship buyers.
  • Research market trends, competitive properties, category spending, and brand priorities to identify high-potential sponsorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, pricing, inventory packaging, and revenue plans for new and existing event properties.


Proposal Development & Deal Execution

  • Partner with internal teams to translate sponsor objectives into compelling platforms, activation concepts, hospitality opportunities, media assets, and integrated partnership packages.
  • Create, customize, and manage high-quality sales materials, including pitch decks, proposals, term sheets, scope summaries, including working with activation team on deal recaps.
  • Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, production, marketing, and operations to move closed deals from signed agreement to successful handoff and execution.
  • Develop strong partnership with fulfillment team to ensure all client deliverables are being fully met and exceeding client expectations.


Client Relationships & Revenue Retention

  • Develop trusted relationships with brand decision-makers, agencies, and key stakeholders to support repeat business, renewals, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Stay engaged after the sale to ensure partner expectations are clearly communicated to internal teams and to identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of proven experience in sponsorship sales in the entertainment, sports or lifestyle events industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively build, conceptualize, present and close sponsorship proposals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to support, learn and grow.
  • Passion for live events and brand partnerships.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Less than 10% domestic travel; must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • On-site office role, NOT a remote or hybrid position other than normal client/event required off-site meetings/roles.
  • Seasonal on-site event support, requiring standing, walking, and light lifting.
