Job Description
The Director of Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight of the daily operation and infrastructure of the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (LMU-OPCVM). This position promotes efficient and effective management of facilities, resources, and processes across OPCVMs multi-site network. Communicates with relevant University entities to support OPCVM facilities. The Director supports long-range planning, manages compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements, and advances operational systems that align with the Colleges mission and values.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Higher Education, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, facilities, or project management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education, medical, or veterinary education environments Familiarity with accreditation processes and compliance reporting Demonstrated success in multi-site or distributed operations management

Direct and coordinate operations across OPCVM facilities, including space management, logistics, and resource allocation

Develop and implement policies and procedures that strengthen operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Handle sensitive information, including contracts, financial data, compliance reports, and accreditation records, with discretion

Maintain confidentiality in all record keeping and communications

Exercise sound judgment in managing restricted or sensitive information in alignment with University policies and applicable regulations

Plan and execute events, meetings, and conferences hosted by the College

Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and equipment setup

Prepare and distribute materials for events and meetings

Provide University-level coordination related to event policies, procedures, and compliance, including documentation for risk management, liability, and insurance requirements

Monitor changes to University event policies and adjust OPCVM processes to remain compliant with evolving standards

Provide operational leadership for special projects and initiatives assigned by the Associate Dean of Clinical Sciences
