Full Job Description
Plan and manage the following functions of the hotel (Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, comp F&B) to achieve customer (guest, employee, corporate and owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Position is responsible for short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the above areas in the hotel. Develops and recommends the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage staff and daily operations in the absence of General Manager.
  • Understands and follows policies and procedures for the hotel's key control system and ensures others are trained in same.
  • Ensures hotel staff, including all new-hires, know and understand the importance of guest satisfaction, and are trained to meet service standards; develops added-value customer service programs.
  • Empowers hotel staff to deliver guest service by encouraging and rewarding responsive guest assistance.
  • Implements and practices guest service initiatives.
  • Assist General Manager with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned or required based on hotel needs.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays to ensure hotel operations run smoothly.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel experience in operations, food and beverage or administration
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office is required.
