Director of Operationsis seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Operations to provide leadership and oversight of the Center's facilities, maintenance, custodial, transportation, and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision for custodial, maintenance, and transportation operations.
- Establish, implement, and administer procedures for the effective operation, maintenance, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and building systems.
- Oversee custodial services and ensure facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and functional condition.
- Develop and enforce safety standards, security measures, and related operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, policies, and safety requirements.
- Supervise, evaluate, and support operational staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and effective communication.
- Coordinate and manage multiple operational projects, priorities, and initiatives across the Center's facilities and campuses.
- Collaborate with administration, staff, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to support the Center's operational needs and long-term goals.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred; or a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in plant, facilities, buildings and grounds, or operations management.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or administrative leadership role preferred.
- Previous experience as a Director of Buildings and Grounds, Director of Operations, Facilities Manager, Plant Manager, or similar position is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively lead, supervise, and collaborate with staff across multiple operational areas.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Salary range: $100K $108K annually based on experience and qualifications.
