Position Summary

The Director of Operations provides strategic and day-to-day operational leadership across Alpine Lodging's short-term rentals and property care divisions. Partners with senior leadership to establish performance goals, manage resources, evaluate results, improve processes, and maintain consistent service standards and accountability across these divisions.

Leadership & Operational Oversight Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and set clear expectations for short-term rentals and property care departments
  • Partner with senior leadership to define annual and long-term operational priorities, performance targets, and improvement initiatives
  • Track progress toward operational goals and coordinate across departments to resolve challenges affecting performance


Operational Performance, Processes, and Resource Management Responsibilities
  • Direct daily operations and performance of the short-term rentals and property care divisions, ensuring property condition, service standards, and efficiency
  • Oversee key functions, including vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory, development and implementation of operational standards and procedures
  • Manage contract preparation and execution for new owners
  • Lead onboarding process of newly acquired properties, coordinating internal teams and vendors to ensure booking and operational readiness
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate procedures and systems to improve efficiency, service delivery, and consistency
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators; take corrective action when performance falls below expectations
  • Identify recurring inefficiencies and service gaps, implement measurable solutions, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Partner with senior leadership on operating budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations
  • Monitor expenses against budget, investigate significant variances, and develop corrective strategies
  • Evaluate vendors and resources used to find cost savings without compromising guest experience or operational standards
  • Ensure departments comply with company policies, procedures, service standards, and applicable regulations, and address any gaps.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Essential Job Requirements
  • Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
  • Experience: Proven ability to plan and manage the operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity in the hospitality industry.
  • Required Skills:

    • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to ascend and descend stairs, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
