Director of Occupational Therapy ServicesWhat You'll Do:- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Occupational Therapy services across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality Occupational Therapy programs, policies, and clinical standards.
- Recruit, onboard, supervise, mentor, and evaluate Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, licensing, accreditation, and payer requirements.
- Oversee clinical quality assurance initiatives and monitor treatment outcomes to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including ABA providers, speech-language pathologists, educators, and healthcare professionals, to support comprehensive client care.
- Review and support occupational therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Provide direct clinical services as needed, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices, emerging research, and industry trends in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Support organizational growth initiatives, program development, and operational planning.
What We're Looking For:- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or program management role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric development, sensory integration, and evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Demonstrated experience in staff supervision, program development, quality assurance, and clinical operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and community partners.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to clinical excellence.
