Qualifications

• Current state license as a licensed professional nurse or registered nurse
• Two years' experience as a licensed nurse
• One year of nurse management experience
• Experience in senior living, home health, or long-term care
• Demonstrated competence in assessment skills, injections, medication administration, follow-up and triage

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for clinical care
• Collaborate with executive director on resident and team member health and safety
• Work with pharmacy consultant to deliver optimal services to residents
• Oversee clinical expertise of licensed nursing staff
• Assist in the education and training of team members
• Identify and address ongoing resident service needs
• Update resident service plans as required by state regulations
• Communicate effectively with families regarding care changes
• Engage in community awareness and relations activities
• Order clinical supplies and manage inventory
• Schedule clinical team members and participate in on-call rotations
