Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the short-term care unit, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to promote quality patient care and nursing practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and effective patient outcomes
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and coaching to ensure exceptional patient care
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and optimizing patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing best practices to enhance patient care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare partners
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies
- Director of Nursing Short Term Unit: Spearhead the development and implementation of short-term care unit policies, procedures, and programs
Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a short-term care unit
- Current RN licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred
- Additional Requirements: Will be determined based on individual experience and qualifications
