DescriptionWhat You'll Do:As our Director of Nursing, you will lead and oversee high-quality healthcare services and programs, improving the lives of our residents and driving the success of our team by:
- Leading and managing our Health Services team, ensuring high performance through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Conducting comprehensive resident assessments prior to move-in and on an ongoing basis, ensuring care plans reflect actual needs and appropriate Level of Care.
- Ensuring high-quality care delivery and compliance by conducting observations, auditing documentation including EHR/Yardi/Care Stream tasks, Quick Mar/med audits, call light response, and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinating care with all external partners such as physicians, labs, and therapy providers, ensuring all orders and treatments are accurately executed.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures to build efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across healthcare services.
- Managing departmental functions, including budget, supply inventory, staffing, record-keeping for the care team, and ensuring the physical location is maintained.
- Facilitating regular meetings and communication with residents, families, and associates to resolve issues and discuss needs, services, and progress.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:- 3+ years of experience in a senior living or related industry supervisory or leadership role.
- 2+ years of experience providing care to cognitive and memory-care residents or patients preferred.
- Must hold active state-required nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and an acceptable record.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
- Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
