Director of Nursing, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.
Pay Range - $80-90,000 depending on experience

Requirements - Registered Nurse licensed according to the laws in employment.
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), First Aid, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Must have at least one (1) years of full-time experience, or the full-time equivalent, in nursing supervision or nursing administration in the management of addictions in a licensed substance abuse treatment facility, in an opioid treatment program or a facility providing detoxification services.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a licensed substance use disorders or mental health treatment facility.
- Experience with triaging in emergency situations, assisting with medical emergencies.
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Localized travel up to 10% may be required to attend meetings and conferences
Responsibilities:- Provide medical services directly to patients.
- Providing administrative oversight of the facility's nursing services, and where appropriate, directly supervising the facility's nursing team.
- Maintains appropriate records and medical files per state and federal regulations.
- Provide group/individual training and supervision to nursing team in medical and health/safety matters and properly maintaining medical equipment.
- Consult in the development, understanding, implementation and adherence to the policies and procedures for medication administration or assistance with self-administration of medication or both
- Administer and interpret TB/ Mantoux testing depending on state.
- Assisting the administrator of the facility in the development and maintenance of written objectives, policies and procedures, an organizational plan, and a quality
assurance program for nursing services, and reviewing all nursing policies and procedures at least annually. - Manages oversight of the pharmacy and assist in DEA Audits.
- In conjunction with the administrator and the governing authority of the program, planning and budgeting for nursing services.
- Ensuring the coordination and integration of nursing services with other patient care services to ensure continuity of care for each patient.
- Must document Nursing Progress Notes on all patients to include quarterly notes, monthly medication renewals, annual physicals.
- Ensuring that the program complies with required nursing team patterns.
- Assisting in developing written job descriptions for the nursing teammates and assigning duties of the nursing team.
- Participating in team conferences with the multidisciplinary team, and the patient care committee (if the facility chooses to establish a patient care committee).
- Attend team meetings and complete all training courses timely as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
