Full Job Description
Director of Nursing to lead our clinical nursing operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing nursing services, supporting quality patient care, developing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, patient-centered culture across our organization.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Nursing collaborates closely with providers, operational leaders, and clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient healthcare services for the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with North Carolina Nurse Practice Act, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standing orders as appropriate.
  • Lead clinical quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, mentoring, and staff development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate clinical education programs and professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, safety, and licensure requirements.
  • Monitor staffing, overtime, and supply utilization in collaboration with organizational leadership.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives related to care coordination and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and assist with patient care during urgent or emergency situations when needed.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
