Build Something Meaningful.As the Director of Nursing, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all nursing operations while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care. You'll have the unique opportunity to build and develop a strong nursing team, establish best practices, and help create a culture that supports both our patients and our employees.
What You'll DoNursing Leadership- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department.
- Establish and maintain standards for safe, efficient, and client-centered nursing care.
- Develop departmental goals, policies, and procedures that support exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable nursing culture.
Clinical Operations- Oversee nursing services for detoxification and residential mental health programs.
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
- Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources based on census and client acuity.
- Provide direct clinical support as needed.
Team Leadership & Development- Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff.
- Lead onboarding, orientation, coaching, and ongoing professional development.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and clinical excellence.
- Build and retain a high-performing nursing team.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards, including: HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and risk management efforts.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement performance improvement strategies.
Collaboration- Partner closely with physicians, therapists, clinical leadership, and administration to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- Promote a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented treatment environment.
- Model outstanding customer service while addressing patient, family, and staff concerns professionally and effectively.
Mosaic Wellness & Recovery is a Drug-Free Workplace.REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Active, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR certification & de-escalation training. (available at facility)
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, substance use treatment, or a related healthcare setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of nursing administration, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
