Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: St. Ignace, Michigan (Onsite)
Work Type: Permanent
Positions: 1
Hours: 36-40 Hours per Week
The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management.
This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage nursing teams in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.

Must-Have Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5+ years of nursing leadership experience
Active Michigan RN License (Required prior to start)
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and nursing operations
• Proven experience in staff supervision and team leadership

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant DON
• Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations (CMS, etc.)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
