Registered Nurse - Director of Nursing - DON We are seeking to hire a
Director of Nursing Services - DON - Registered Nurse.- $117K to $140K annually based on skills and experience.
- Excellent staff retention.
- Earn up to 30 days of PTO.
- We pay 80% of health insurance premiums.
- The only Faith-Based Skilled Nursing Facility in Berkshire County .
Director of Nursing Services - DON - Registered Nurse Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed as an RN - Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Experienced in Change Management and mission focused.
- Two (2) years experience as a Director of Nursing required.
- Five (5) years experience in Long-Term Care required.
Director of Nursing Services - DON - Registered Nurse Summary:- Responsible for the development of nursing service objectives and performance standards.
- Responsible for nursing service compliance to federal, state and local regulations.
- Direct, evaluate and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Assess resident care needs and assist in the development of individualized plans of resident care.
- Direct and supervise scheduling of employees.
- Assist in recruiting, conduct counseling interviews and initiate disciplinary action as necessary.
- Prepare written employee performance evaluations and recommend pay, role and other HR changes.
- Direct and implement nursing service educational programs.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the nursing service budget.
- Take inquiries for resident placement as assigned by the Admissions Office.
- Coordinate resident admissions, transfers and discharges.
