Overview

Join Our Team as a Director of Nursing!

As the Director of Nursing, you will lead the delivery of compassionate, patient-centered care within the scope of services provided by our Hospice House. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and oversee personalized care plans for each patient, ensuring optimal outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of care. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of care is consistently delivered in an efficient, cost-effective manner, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, and staff. You will play a key role in providing ongoing education and training to the care team, managing staff development through new hire orientation, and supporting continuous professional growth. As a hands-on leader, you will oversee the coordination and supervision of all clinical and supportive services, ensuring they are delivered safely and in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards. You will stay up-to-date with clinical practices, regulatory changes, and reimbursement guidelines, ensuring that the team is well-prepared to provide exceptional care. You will also serve as an essential member of our leadership team, working collaboratively to ensure every patient receives the highest level of care and support.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred). Current state license as a registered nurse
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered nurse in an appropriate clinical care setting, hospice environment preferred.
