What you will have an opportunity to do:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Development
• Manage all aspects of the FIT/leisure travel market segment, including consortia, wholesale, and boutique travel agencies.
• Prepare and negotiate service proposals and contracts, ensuring alignment with inventory, pricing, and revenue strategies.
• Proactively solicit new business through industry shows, sales calls, hosted events, and regular travel to key domestic and international markets.
• Maintain consistent visibility in key feeder markets and participate in relevant travel trade and consortia events (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature, Travel Leaders).
Client Relationship Management
• Conduct customized site inspections and client experiences, including dining and one-on-one property tours.
• Greet VIPs upon arrival and act as liaison between hotel departments and clients for a seamless guest experience.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and client requests, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and follow-through.
Operational Coordination
• Create detailed group and individual booking summaries (spec sheets) outlining purpose, pickup, rate details, VIP preferences, billing, and special instructions.
• Lead or participate in weekly operations meetings to review upcoming arrivals and recent departures for service excellence.
• Collaborate with revenue, reservations, front office, and marketing to ensure successful execution of leisure and travel programs.
Strategic Sales Planning
• Work with the Director of Sales + Marketing to establish sales goals, develop action plans, and implement targeted promotions and packages.
• Monitor account production and performance, generating reports to guide strategic focus.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure timely updates for all client interactions.
