Position Summary

The Manager, Inventory Control & Supply Chain Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight across consigned inventory integrity, high-volume reverse logistics, supply chain analytics, and asset liquidation. Leading a team structured across Inventory Reporting & Analytics, Reverse Logistics, and Supply Chain/Liquidations, this role places critical focus on managing the end-to-end customer trade-in return pipeline-ensuring trade-in devices are processed, verified, and delivered to AT&T reverse logistics partners within strict carrier timeframes to prevent chargebacks and maximize program value. Additionally, the manager collaborates with AT&T supply chain teams to optimize consigned device and accessory SKU assortments to maximize business growth and retail availability.

This position works cross-functionally with retail leadership, Loss Prevention, OEM vendors, logistics providers, and AT&T supply chain teams to enforce audit readiness, streamline reverse channel flows, and optimize the serialized product lifecycle from intake to final disposition.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the high-volume customer trade-in return pipeline, ensuring accurate processing, serialized tracking, and timely delivery to AT&T reverse logistics partners to meet program SLAs and prevent financial chargebacks
• Partner directly with AT&T supply chain teams to forecast, request, and optimize consigned device and accessory SKU assortments to maximize sales, margins, and inventory turn
• Lead, mentor, and direct a cross-functional team overseeing Inventory Reporting, Reverse Logistics, and Supply Chain/Liquidations
• Direct end-to-end consigned inventory accuracy across all retail locations, overseeing cycle count programs, reconciliation protocols, and variance investigations
• Oversee the development and automation of reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to track KPIs including trade-in return compliance, shrinkage, aging, reconciliation status, and carrier audit metrics
• Formulate and execute asset disposition, liquidation, and secondary market recovery strategies for end-of-life (EOL), obsolete, and excess non-consigned inventory
• Manage serialized device intake, demo unit repurposing, and store closure asset recoveries
• Support employee sales programs for end-of-life (EOL) devices, ensuring policy compliance and accurate tracking
• Act as an operational liaison with OEMs (Apple, Samsung), logistics providers, and parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx) to optimize shipping performance, tracking visibility, and reverse workflows
• Design and enforce strict SOPs for intake, trade-in handling, store-to-store transfers, returns to vendor (RTV), and carrier audit readiness aligned with company and AT&T standards
• Partner with Loss Prevention to conduct root-cause investigations into inventory variances, missing trade-ins, transit damages, and vendor shortages
• Provide supervisory oversight for incidental staging, material handling, and shipping/receiving support functions

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control, reverse logistics, trade-in program management, supply chain analytics, or consigned inventory management
• Prior leadership and people-management experience overseeing operational and analytical teams
• Hands-on experience with AT&T systems (OPUS, ARMD, RLO) or comparable telecommunications retail inventory platforms
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel; familiarity with automation tools and predictive analytics
• Demonstrated knowledge of carrier trade-in partner workflows, consigned inventory models, audit protocols, and secondary market liquidation
