Responsibilities Director of Assessment and Referral (Intake) Located in Sacramento, California, Sierra Vista Hospital is a compassionate behavioral health facility and a center of support for adult and adolescent patients and their families. Since 1986, we have offered our clinical expertise to those suffering from behavioral health disorders or dual diagnosis. Our private 171-bed facility is home to a clinical team of licensed professionals committed to providing the highest quality care. We also provide inpatient alcohol detox and outpatient chemical dependency services.
The Director of Assessment & Referral, reporting to the CEO, is responsible for and provides clinical direction in psychiatric and chemical dependency assessment services including evaluation, crisis intervention and referrals, and works closely with administration, medical staff and other departments, as necessary. In addition, the Director is responsible for the management, planning and improvement process related to meeting the overall hospital goals strategically and financially with-in the A&R department and as a member of the Senior Management team.

Qualifications Education :
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university and licensed in social work, or a related mental health field required (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
Licensure: - (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT). LCSW PREFERRED
A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, including psychiatric and addiction diagnosis, clinical interviewing, patient assessment and treatment planning. A minimum of three (3) years of managing a professional/clinical team and responsible for staffing, budget and process improvements.
