Full Job Description
The beautiful Marriott Boston Quincy is seeking a Director of Human Resources, People and Culture.

This role is ideal for an HR leader who thrives in hospitality, understands the pace and complexity of a full-service hotel operation, and believes Human Resources should be a visible, operationally engaged partner to every department in the hotel.

Position Summary

The Director of Human Resources serves as a key member of the hotel Executive Committee and provides strategic leadership across all areas of associate relations, engagement, leadership development, recruitment, training, performance management, culture-building, and HR compliance.

This role will focus heavily on strengthening associate engagement, fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture, and developing leaders at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate is highly visible, approachable, operationally engaged, and passionate about creating meaningful associate experiences that ultimately elevate the guest experience.

Key responsibilities include: Associate Engagement and Culture, Leadership Development and Human Resources Operations. This position is 100% on-property.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience within a hotel environment required
  • Full-service hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Marriott brand experience and knowledge of Marriott HR systems and platforms preferred
  • Proven experience driving associate engagement and culture initiatives
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching background
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with operational leaders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
