Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, DE is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as the Director of Human Resources.

As the Director of Human Resources, you'll be at the forefront of our mission of providing Care Beyond Compare by ensuring that our healthcare center stays fully staffed with exceptional employees. You'll serve as our culture ambassador - helping new hires feel comfortable and get acquainted with the team, advancing employee engagement, encouraging employee growth and development, and so much more.

What You'll Do
  • Spearhead recruitment efforts to find and hire the best candidates for each role.
  • Manage employee onboarding and new hire orientation; Ensure employees are set up for success and that all employment records are maintained in compliance.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll process and ensure all timecards submitted are complete and accurate.
  • Support staff and serve as an employee resource to answer questions related to HR matters including benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and update schedules and daily staffing and ensure adequate staffing ratios.
  • Ensure the electronic scheduling system stays up to date to accurately reflect staffing schedule.
  • Coordinate employee requests for time off to ensure proper coverage of nursing units.
  • Develop and maintain good working rapport with other departments in the healthcare center.


What You Need
